Abstract
Peanuts are largely grown rn nutrrent and rnolsture deficient soils of the semi-arid tropics of lndia und Weat Africa. Growth and nutrlent uptake, par:rcularly phosphorus and ztnc were increased by Ves~culur Arbuscular Mycorrhitnl~ (VAMI inoculation [Kr~stina G Bagyaraj. 19041. Thls paper reports on the rnlluence cf VAM and fertilizer phosphorus on P nutrition end growth of peanuts and genotypic differences in VAM colonization.
