Abstract
Several fungi isolated from chickpea rhizosphere were screened with B. cinerea on PDA and the most effective antagonists, 5 Trichoderma isolates, were tested further. Isolates T15 reduced grey mould on inoculated susceptible pot-grown plants under growth room conditions, when sprayed as a spore suspension 1 d before inoculation with the pathogen. In further trials, control was best when 107 conidia/ml were applied with 0.5% carboxymethylcellulose and this treatment will be tested further in the field.
