    The eighth Eastern Africa Region Workshop on Sorghum and Millets brought together scientists working on all aspects of Sorghum and milletsresearch in eastern Africa. A total of 42 papers were presented on: improvement and production of sorghum and millets agronomy and resource management, crop protection,and utilization ,and socioeconomics.In addition, the proceedings include reports of discussions and workshop recommendations
