Abstract

Information on heterosis and combining ability is derived from data on nine agronomic traits (grain yield per season, grain yield per day, time to flowering, plant height, panicle length, biomass, growth index, tiller number, and thousand seed mass) from a diallel cross involving eleven diverse pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum) populations of African and Indian background developed at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT).......
