    Abstract

    The effect of irrigation and plant population on peanut bud necrosis tospovirus (PBNV) in a sole groundnut cropping system was determined. PBNV incidence decreased significantly as plant density increased, disease incidence was also lower in irrigated plots than in nonirrigated plots.
