Abstract

The Dumas method, a rapid and precise technique for determining total carbon and nitrogen in soils, involves high-temperature combustion under oxygen-rich conditions with detection of evolved gases using TC-TN analyzers. This method provides accurate measurements of TC and TN, making it a preferred approach for soil fertility and nutrient analysis.
