    Abstract

    The Thi rd Working Group Meet ing on Botrytis Gray Mold of Chickpea reviewed research progress dur ing the last 3 years, in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal . Summar ies of these research findings are presented here. The prel iminar y repor t on the occur rence of bot ryt i s gray mol d of chickpea in Myanma r i s notewor thy. Field trials conducted in Bangladesh, India, and Nepa l indicate that an integrated disease management , i f pract ised, can reduce disease intensi ty in chickpea fields, and increase chickpea product ion in disease-prone areas. Recommendat ions were ma d e for future research priori t ies.
